My entertainer

One day my sister and I went out to run errands.  We had hit about 4 different stores and were finally on our way home.  The kids were getting crabby and not thrilled with being in the car for some odd number of hours.  We got some pocky sticks from the Korean market and Elizabeth was already enjoying them on the ride home.  As Auggie started to scream, I asked Elizabeth to pass one to her brother and she willingly did.  Jenny and I continued to talk in the enjoyable silence of two kids eating pocky sticks.

As we approached the house, Auggie started to get crabby again, which I expected since it was near nap time.  When I pulled into the driveway and turned to look at the kids... this is what I found!!!!!

To say the least... I was not thrilled, but he was.

Apron Pt2

So last week was one of our favorite nephew's birthday.  He's the type of boy that goes into toys r us and can't find anything he likes.  When you ask his older brother what his younger brother is going to be when he grows up, he says that he's going to be a chef. :)  So, I decided to make him a "manly" apron for his birthday so that he can cook with pride. hahah.  Here it is...

Spiderman Apron!

My first time sewing on an applique.

I learned from Elizabeth's apron that it's much easier to have a velcro tab for their sake.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIDDY! :)
